My good friend and wine maker Ted Wilson presented me with an interesting design challenge: come up with a label for a manly rosé. Despite the fact that I've never seen those two words used together in a sentence before, we came up with a great solution. It was a small release, so we landed on the name 'Ration Rosé' and I designed a label based on the WWII ration cards. We utilized the format and added a section to describe the wine's characteristics. To help the bros figure out if this light summer red had the notes they didn't know they were looking for.
